| Agent Smith | True. I know a lot of DEN guys too and about 99% of the -90 guys. BTW, the next person who text messages me about "Dood! Was that you?!" is getting his butt kicked because I have an o'dark thirty van ride to the airport in the morning.

| "Actually, what freaked everybody out is he (the pilot) said, 'I'll see you guys on the other side' right before it happened and he's like, 'I meant on the ground,'" said Smith's husband, Tyler. The flight was scheduled to arrive at 6:24 p.m. and landed at around 6:40 p.m. Passengers say many of them cheered when the plane landed and the pilot came into the cabin and talked to them once they were on the ground. One passenger says the pilot told them he has trained for 200 different types of emergencies and that this was his first. Haha, I guess they train for the emergency and how to survive it safely but the choice of words could have been better... "See you on the other side" sounds like someone was giving up all hope about to bail on the situation. |

| Old Skool | So were back to this huh...lol! When I joined the site any Delta incident or accident that occured everyone was in a mad rush to ask "Doug man was that you...?" Even if the plane type was a 767,737 or 757 when he clearly states he flies the MD-88/90. I think that my favorite though was after an AMR MD-80 landed gear up in DFW a few years ago. There was a post "doooode Doug was that you man?" Classic! |

| Old Skool | Actually after a second look he is right. The correct way to have said that is: "Doug is ubiquitous." vs. Doug's ubiquitous. Saying "Doug's" equals ownership. Versus "Doug is" which is a statement! |

| Old Skool | Doug's can be a contraction for Doug is. Doug is ubiquitous. That's stupid. That is stupid. Same deal with "they'd".. it can mean "they had" and They're means They are. bling bling bazzing The Chief of the grammar police has spoken. El Presidente de la organizacion gramatica .... has spoken. fue hablado?

| About the pilot me misinterpreted - my friend is a doctor, and once told a family their father was upstairs. He was referring to the sixth floor, they thought heaven. |
