Default The pilots life.....

One of our scenic pilots was just hired to fly Twin Otter's on floats in St. Croix.

His backcground: Good old Maine woods flying in a 180 on straight floats and a 172/180hp taiwheel conversion. Both planes hapened to be his (with some of dad's money). His float plane is probably one of the nicest 180's on floats in the world. He commuted in the airplanes from southern Maine to BHB. Since they are a day VFR operation they had no problem hiring him with a night restriction due to color blindness.

He just passed 1000TT also has some heli time, with absolutely zero "glass time".

He and his girlfriend are buying a boat in N. Carolina and going to live on it down there. It is actually cheaper doing it that way than a house or apartment due to electricity costs.

Man the life of a pilot..........Living on a boat in St. Croix, Flying Twotter's on floats.
