Default Help Find N2700Q

Strange...

"On Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006, at 10:43 am, a 1966 Cessna 182, tail# 2700Q, departed Deer Valley Airport near Phoenix (DVT) with full fuel tanks and disappeared. Although no flight plan was filed, it is believed the aircraft was headed for Sedona (SEZ) and was expected to return to Deer Valley that same afternoon or evening. A Civil Air Patrol search was begun the next day but as of today, October 5, no trace of the plane or its two occupants has been found"

I think they're on the coast of Baja, eating fresh fish tacos, and drinking cold Bohemia.

At least that's where I'd be . . .

Little disconcerting. DVT to SEZ isn't but 80 miles.

Reno FSS has had this message posted on their prerecorded route information for a few days. But if you don't listen to that and just talk to a briefer, then you won't hear a thing.

MTSU - That's what a lot of people here in the valley think happened to them...

I think it's a case of someone running off with someone else's spouse...

Wouldn't be the first time for a situation like this....
