| anyone use this? It keeps crashing on me and I can't figure out why. I can do 2 or 3 entries before a random click will close the program. |

| Old Skool | You should buy it instead of Bit Torrenting it. They got killer tech support everytime I've had a question. I've never had the problem you're describing, though.

| Old Skool | I agree completely. I've got Logbook Pro on my PC and then use the PDA thinger too. It makes life SOOOO easy to simply come home every night, hotsync my PDA through my bluetooth connection and not have to worry about updating a logbook until I have an interview, and then all I really need to do is write in the numbers into my paper logbook. |

| Senior Member | I'll add to the kudos for Logbook Pro. It's been awesome with the companion Airline Pilot's Daily Logbook. I can (could) import my trips from the company website, enter out/in times and IFR, night, etc. and sync it right to LBP. Interview time was a breeze. They even have data entry services available if you need to transfer from your existing logbooks.

| Old Skool | They make binders for the pages you can print out, so I don't see much difference b/w bringing that or a Jeppesen hard bound book.

| Old Skool | I printed out my logbook pro logbook on nice heavy paper and had it spiral bound with a hard cover and last page. It looked pretty spiffy. I also brought along my first logbook that had all my sign offs and covered my first 300 hours (also covered in the print out). The funny thing was they didn't look at either one other then to glance at the last page of my print out for about 5 seconds. |

| Well that's cool. i was kind of under the impression that they go through it with a fine toothed comb, but if not, they might not even notice my logbook is messy.

| Old Skool | I was sorta let down after I put all the time and effort into making my logbook look extremely professional and presentable. One guy thumbed through it so fast he couldn't possibly be reading anything while another guy was asking me "Tell me about a time when..." questions. That was the extent of my logbook grilling. I've heard XJT hits them pretty hard, though. It probably just depends on which airline your interviewing with.

| Old Skool | Yeah... they scrub the logbooks pretty hard... It's what the interviewers are doing while you get the company introduction. Lot's of folks have been asked to leave within the first hour due to logbook errors or lack or ME currency. Regarding your logged time... realistically, a statment on a blank sheet of paper that says "I, Joe Pilot, License# XXXXXXX have XXXX hours TT, XXX hours ME, XXX hours SE, XX hours Instrument," etc. that is signed and dated by you is a valid account of your logged time. The reality of it however... may be another story altogether. I've known people who have completely redone their logs all the way back to their intro flight. That's cool as long as you bring in the logbooks with the endorsements in them as well. I've known Regional Captains who stopped logging their time after XXXX hours and used signed company pay registers as their logbooks for their "Major" interviews. I've also known captains who have used their signed "redbooks" too. Currently I'm using a company payroll register based logbook that downloads my aircraft, airports, dates and times, co-pilot, etc... automatically after a trip into a Jep style format online. All I have to do is fill in landings, approaches, Actual, etc. It's pretty cool. I can then use the printouts fill out my Jep logbook without error... if I so choose. But right now I am thinking about just keeping it online... otherwise I have a year plus to make up!! Doh! Bob
