Default CNBC documentary on American Airlines

The CNBC documentary on American Airlines, entitled "A Week in the Life of the World's Largest Airline," is currently scheduled to air Wednesday, Oct. 18. In an unprecedented effort, CNBC recently deployed 12 film crews to portray the activities of American and American Eagle employees while on the job.

The air date for the special is set for Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 8pm Eastern.
Much of this was shot in SOC.

Of course they do. People know the show and they know that the squeaky wheel (irate customer) gets the grease (tv time).....

That ticking you hear at the beginning of each show of Airline is someone elses fifteen minutes starting....

That was a very well documentary.

I have to say, that I know of, that we have too many mainline AAL guys on these forums, much less any EGF drivers. If we do, I'd love to hear their comments on the episode.

One thing I wish they had focused more on, of course, is labor costs, how they have changed, and if by their changing have they truely saved the airline much money? And also if the airline could of changed other things besides labor to save money?

They did talk about that though didn't they. . . was a nice tap dance from the CEO. "Equity based bonuses. . ." Go figure.
