Default Speeding Tickets?

Does the number of speeding/traffic tickets truly matter when applying for a job? I think it may show that one is reckless.

If you had one or two, no biggie. If you average 3 a year, it may be trouble.

I have a few. As long as you disclose everything, you will be fine. There was a guy that made it to the second day of class before getting the boot because his records came back with something that he did disclose/explain.

Ya, but was it traffic ticket related?

In my previous post, I meant to say that he did not disclose.

We don't have solid facts but there is speculation that it was a DUI.

I know for a fact that AS does not want you to have more than two a year but as it was mentioned in the previous post, as long as you tell the truth you'll be fine.
And always remember that they definately check your DMV records so nenver play games with the HR staff.

I'd say it depends on your timing and the company you're applying to. I got a call from 2 companies on the same day for an interview. One asked specifically about the speeding tickets I claimed on the application. The other didn't. The first one said they couldn't interview me because of them, and the second one hired me without giving a second look at it.......Like the others said...disclose everything, hide nothing. Also make sure you don't have 4 speeding tickets a year for the last 5 years...that'll probably raise some eyebrows....
