Default Yo Doug - What Up This Month?

Doug,

Your trips seem to be different this month, going places (BOS, STL) I haven't seen you go since you were based in ATL. Did SLC flying get a little more interesting or did I miss something?

Ehh, I usually bid trips west of DFW but this trip with the ATL flying slipped past my bidding radar.

Stay west of the Mississippi young man, ain't nothing back east but drama.

Oh come Doug you know you liked flying the -88 back and forth from ATL to GSP. And the afternoon TS that causes an hour plus delay.

Actually, I've flown this rotation twice and we actually did day 3 "as scheduled" for the first time.

Long day, but a long layover thereafter: ORD-ATL-STL-ATL-BOS

Note to self: it's "GEETK is 'Gee-Tech' not 'Geek-Tech' so you don't upset the ramp tower operator who went there

I'd say, "I'm gonna try that!" but I don't go thru ATL next month and tomorrow is my last trip for August.

Hopefully flying to Paris saturday for a long weekend, but we'll see.

Just keep that in mind when you come back thru this great city. If any layover so a decent amount let me know...I got dinner or lunch covered.

Cool! Will do!

I need to go pee someplace in public in ATL. Some guy just "punked" the captain and I in the elevator. Plainclothed guy asks, "Who do ya'll fly for?".

And his next comment was "Even though ya'll took a paycut, you're still way overpaid" and we were about 5 seconds from a "career-threatening moment" until he said, "I'm just kidding ya! I'm (blank) based in 'Lanna".
