Default In need of a Pilot Job.

Is there anybody out there looking for a Pilot or Co-Pilot with low time? I'm also a CFI and MEI.

My hours consist of: Total Time 555.1, SEL 493.6, MEL 51.9, Instrument Time 69.5, Cross Country 260.7, Night 47.3, Instruction Given 142.2, Takeoff's and Landings 1,111, Complex Time 152.9.

Aircraft flown: C-152 77.2, C-172R(Skyhawk) 103.0, C-182(Skylane) 10.5, PA28-161(Piper Warrior) 214.6, PA28R-201(Piper Arrow) 102.4, PA44-180(Piper Seminole) 51.9.

Right now I'm currently employed by Georgia Aviation Technical College as a Flight Instructor Intern. The school is a Part 141 flight school. This is also where I graduated from. Any help would be greatfully apprishated. I have a current Resume aviable upon request.

That's funny, but I relate. There was a time when I was ready to etch my number in fbo bathrooms.

Can't fault the guy for being resourceful.

My questions are:

a. Where are you working now?

If you're not currently working, basically your only options are getting your CFI, maintaining currency and continuing your job search.

You're not really that marketable at your current flight times, especially if you're not current.

Are decimal points really necessary??? Just round down and make your numbers look cleaner. Just like you do on your 8710. No interviewer cares that you have 555.1 hours of total time. 555 works just as well.

I disagree. I think you should go to the second decimal place using a wrist watch coupled with a handheld stop watch for accuracy, reliability, and validity.

So your resume is going to read: 555.023 hours of total time (Casio and Timex Verified)

I filled out an 8710 for a student the other day and used decimal points... I forgot about leaving them off until we handed it over to the DE. The exact second it left my hand I remembered you are supposed to round up/down...

D'oh, of course he pointed out I should leave them off next time but it's no big deal.
