Actually I don't have one yet. I'm hoping the "good times" will be around for another year or so, so I can get one. Not that my driving record is bad, but I'll take all the advantages I can get. And I know what you're saying, and I agree.

After just going throught the application/interview process, I can tell you the most it affected me was the stress in getting the information. I did not have enough time to get my record from CA mailed to me out of state. I had to guess on the general time of my speeding tickets. They ask "ever" so I had to think back to when I was 16.

I know in California there is no conviction given when you go to traffic school, but there was one ticket where I could not do traffic school. I had to just say in the interview that I did not have the dates and that my last speeding ticket was about a year and a half ago. They really didn't care, but I hate having any blanks on an app.

By the way, I remember an article on a site like abcnews.com or cnn.com that listed, by profession, who got the most tickets and who got into the most accidents. Airline pilots were near the top for tickets, but low for accidents. Doctors were near the top for accidents.
