Red Bull Air Races -- How does one go about getting into that?

Just like the title of the thread says; how do you get into this sport? Seems to me like it'd be a complete blast, and I've always somewhat regretted not trying to get into auto racing.

I'd guess you have to be a pretty accomplished aerobatics pilot to start.
