Default Iron Maiden Pilot

I dont know if this has been posted but I am a fan of Iron Maiden and apparently Bruce Dickenson (lead singer) is an FO on for a British charter airline on a 757. I have a new hero read below

Up the Irons!

Dude, that is a B.A. idea for an avatar. Wish I'd thought of that.

LOL, that's awesome

"Astraeus would like to welcome aboard all Beirut evacuees...this is your Captain speaking, while being assisted by First Officer Bruce Dickinson, lead singer of Iron Maiden. We'll be cruising at an altitude of "$#%#, we need to get the He!! out of here feet", and if anyone would like some inflight entertainment, we'll being playing some music by Sir Elton John on channel 3. You can purchase a set of ear pieces from the in-cabin Attendants...and NO we don't have any backstage passes..."

Kick ass!!! I'd get on a plane with Bruce. Now if it was Ozzy, that would be another story. Although it would be funny to hear him making radio calls. "what the f@#$ do you mean I'm number and continue downwind? I'm the Prince of f@#%ing darkness!"

Old news. He did all his ratings and I believe instructed in Santa Monica, IIRC.

The moral of the story: we all grow up sometime.

I love old Iron Maiden. Would love to start a tribute band; you're a singer, right SeanD? Can you belt out those falsettos?

Maiden has always been the premier metal band. Intelligent lyrics, great musicianship (that's a word, right?).

It would have been weird to have him show for a trip during a rain shower or snow storm and tell him to get his long-haired, satan-worshipping arse outside for the walkaround.

Agreed, but rockstars don't have a great track record with flying...remember Randy Rhodes? I'm sure he's a good pilot(Bruce that is, wouldn't say that about Randy)

It still hurts thinking back on all the time and money I invested in learning to play guitar, bass, and drums, and now I'll never again get laid because of it...who am I kidding? Being in a band didn't help either.lol

And you never will be able to either.

He's probably laid more hot chicks than all of us combined! And it wasn't due to his piloting skills..haha
