Sure pilots at the regional level make crap. My dad is going to make about 300,000 this year though. Who knows if the rest of us will ever see that kind of pay though.

Man... I nominate buffalopilot as JC's dumbest member... No wonder regionals car get away paying 22k with people like him.

A Verizon tech making 70,000 isn't that had to imagine considering their job is often dangerous (climbing poles, dogs, stringing cables), it's a unionized job, and certainly involves some degree of technical knowhow.

If you're talking about the guys selling phones at the mall, I seriously doubt those guys make more than $20/hr on a good day.

Actually my friend works in a Verizon store here in Chandler. He says makes $110k a year. All I know is that he has a big house in Awatukee and three cars and is only 23 yrs. old. They want to promote him to sales manager but he says he would take a pay cut.

So if someone called you a toolbox, that makes everyone get paid less?

no it just shows the mentality of the people becomming pilots and management sees that a bunch of immature kids are doing the job so why pay them more. ALso i know plenty of folks who wont become airline pilots because of the immaturity and disrespect at the regional level. Do yousee Dr's calling each other stupid? People ask questions to get educated. There is no such thing as a dumb question.

The idiot is the one who asks no questions. Thus the guys who want to be airline pilots and quit in 1 year, they NEVER ask questions thus the reason why they are misinformed on the profession.

I agree totally with you buff, especially in regards of professionalism towards one another.

Ditto, very few people are here to pass judgement. If you are, you're one of very few.

Most of the foreigners I've talked to actually like us and though I've debated with a few, they are just like us. They wonder and seek truth. The only time I hear about how wrong we are, is on the news networks and in the newspapers, because they imply that- which is more effective than any article in the opinion section.
