I'm just curious as to what all you guys eat while on the road. It just seems that airport food is really unhealthy. What other things like types of exercise do you do to stay in shape?

A regional crew can sustain themselves fairly well on a diet of kidnapped midgets (or Little People as they sometimes perfer to be called) from the Seattles Best coffee stand in the terminal.

On a four day trip I'll pack 3 peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches and enough oatmeal to eat each morning. I'll typically meet the crew for a decent dinner one or two nights. I love peanut butter and jelly...it lasts forever and mitigates the amount of chinese takeout in the airports. Saves a ton of money as well. My goal is to never eat in the airports...but it's an unattainable goal...sometimes you just have to. |

meal...1 dollar wendys cheeseburger..1dollar wendys salad. Water or diet coke if I'm feeling spendy. My GF doesn't like it when I pick the restuarants we go out to.... Her: How about some olive garden..that sounds really good. Me: Bah...lets get to kroger I can make spaghetti!!! we already have bread! On weeks when I'll be gone allot I usually cook about 5 lbs of chicken on sunday and take that with me for lunch/dinner/etc... I'm forever on a diet though. |
