But are you really surprised? Who would really give up $26k with only one chance for an interview?

If for some reason you dont get hired the first time, it souns like JetU will train and make you better to make sure you get hired the second time around.

Normal people ARE given a second chance, you just have to wait six months for the second interview for Pinnacle.

But for JetU, you can wait 6 months and do nothing, and then interview. Or, you can take sim classes and stuff again at JetU (free of charge for second time through) and then interview again with no time waiting restriction (no waiting 6 months).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm the only one here who bothered to follow up with JetU to find out just what's going on with this program. Even DE727UPS said that someone should find out.

Then after she graduates she finds out that she makes more money dancing their then at her fancy college job.

When does your app arrive? And have you scheduled your campus tour yet? Just so you can report back to the site about how bad it is there. Then you'll probably enroll so you can give us an insiders perspective about how JetU students are personally ruining the industry.

Like I said before in the MAPD thread which you're obviously familiar with, I just started about a month ago as an engineer.

I'm saving all that I can. I've already saved about $4000, and will save for about $30k to use towards either the Direct Track at Flight Safety Academy or MAPD's PACE.

I'm not gonna be stupid to take loans to fly.

Aviation probably has the worst return for your investment. You can go to ERAU, spend over $150k, and start with a job that pays $20k max as a regional F/O.


I'm not gonna jump into anything until I save up. And there's no way in he!! I'm taking loans to pay for any Direct Track or PACE program.
I'll pay it out of savings from my current engineering job.
What I'm trying to imply is that I am not going anywhere for at least a year to a year and a half.
So, no, you won't see me running to Flight Safety's Direct Track or PACE just yet.

Shakes head. The point of that MAPD/PACE thread wasn't to get you to save up money to go to MAPD/PACE or FSA Direct track vs. getting loans. It was to tell you to not go their but instruct and build both skill and character vs. going the easy direct route.
