yeah heres an update... i left! all i feel comfortable saying over the internet is that i didnt feel very good about what was going on and decided i needed to get out. i met some great people out there and i hope to see them again so in all it was a good learning experience... i guess.... moving on!!!

That's not too helpful considering how many others were willing to share their stories to prevent the same mistake from happening.

I thought this was a new thread until I looked at the dates. The little story played out in this thread proves that the collective advice of JC, though unheeded, wins out again!

Ive talked to a few people via PM when they ask, just not in an open forum. and its alot worse now then it was when i started.

...as for not heeding the JC advice - whatever. i considered every opinion anyone had to say about it. and guess what im still glad i did it. i spent a year in maui, met awesome people, had alot of fun flying around the islands, partying on the beaches, spearfishing, hiking, etc... was it a great place to work? no but i worked my ass off for every hour and im proud of that. i think giving eachother advice on a forum like this is why it should be here, but its just that, advice. so if someone decides to go and try something for themselves instead of just listening to a bunch of people talk about how it was bad for their buddy bills friends uncle's son then more power to them. fair enough?
