Default My worst/Scariest flying Experience

Once upon a time I took off Zero-Zero in my trusty twin. This was a mission like no other. "CAMERA LIGHTS!, LETS GO!"....At V3 we had an engine failure, of catastrophic proportions. I decided not to feather and we continued to climb up to altitude, at about 50 fpm. I started to pick up ice....but this was a special mission....DAMN The ice, full speed ahead I cried!. The little twin, now single engine, did a magnificant job climbing up to 1000 feet, our cruise altitude, for this was a special mission. ATC said I wasnt radar contact for some reason, those smooth edges of this butte will do that sometimes. I started to smell a strange oder of fire, I put out my cigarette, and began searching for the problem. I turned off all my radios and started to lean my engine out. I screamed "SAVE YOURSELVES!" but soon realized I was flying IFR single pilot. I was then getting lonely and turned back on my radios to find ESPN radio on the ADF. I was approaching my destination finally, and I let out a YELL, for this was near the end of the special mission. I needed to shoot an NDB, but Mike and Mike was on, and couldnt turn the channel. I just eyeballed it and made a near 0-0 landing. The special mission was complete soon after a called for a tug to tow me in.

Don't know about your night, but I was dreaming about donuts and biscuits and gravy. Mmmm, Sunday morning breakfast!

what a weenie...shoulda just landed on the ramp. Then no need for a tow....this manuever is allowed for special missions. Also if done with great care and finess you get the cheerleaders welcome.
