my first flight was in an ultralight...14 years old....fun little machines......as long as you don't fly in places that need a radio, you can take that thing pretty much anywhere.......

That is scary. About 3 years ago I almost ran into a guy while shooting and ILS to near mins. I broke out expecting to see the runway and what do I get a freakin Ultralight crossing right in front of me.... There has to be more regulation and enforcement of this before someone gets killed and damages GA more. [end rant] |

He did a pretty damn good job! I mean, it wasnt very smart but it sure wasnt illegal except for flying over a populated area.
