Pray for the cop. At first I was hoping the 3rd cop got off a head shot on the suspect, but than I decided I hope he got him in the neck or somewhere along those lines so it was a very slow painful death. One less scumbag in the world, just hopefully not at the expense of a cop.

Another fine example of the "thinning of the herd".

The one cop wasn't wearing "required" armor, and the suspect was able to obtain the second officer's weapon ... time for some refresher courses in Cleveland Law Enforcement.

I talked to the officers in CLE when I was a ramper there and I don't think any of them wore any kind of body armor. Most considered the job to be on the easier side of the possible assignments. Mostly all they do is walk around looking for suspicious persons. It's sad that this type of thing happened... the homeless problem is fairly noticable especially after midnight toward the employee entrance to the baggage claims area.

I think I heard somewhere that if a police officer is shot there is a better chance that the weapon was his/her own or another officer's than anything else.

Who's writing this, a couple of 4th graders?

Bill wondered the same thing I think there wasn't a lot of information available at the time, so they just wrote it 'list' style, without a whole lot of real writing involved
