Default Bird Strike In A 210!!

So, I wondered why the plane I was in this week has a new headliner and was so much prettier inside than the rest of the fleet!

Then I got the story . . .

Holy crap! That'll get your attention!

I smacked a decent sized bat in the Caravan once, but it just oozed all over the windscreen, didn't go through.

That's crazy!

Lloyd if found a good ole boy he might have taken that off their hands and had dinner. Nothing like plane kill, instead of road kill.

We hit a bird in the 727 where it hit right on the windshield wiper arm bolt. Split it perfectly in two and greased the captain's and the FO's window in even allotments.

Nasty! Birds have a lot of goo!

The speedline was good for breakfast and that was it. After that I would rather starve.

That's about how I felt about it! The first two hours were nirvana, anything later, you wished you had just bitten the bullet and went to Mo' Betta Chicken!

Anyone remember that? Anyone! Anyone?

I remember my first introduction to "Mo Betta" was when I was trying to order a two-piece meal and the two ladies working behind the counter were in a physical fight.

I just wanted to eat, but the customers were almost a second thought once the first swings were thrown.

Women fighting are always better. They swing fist and grab hair. None of this walking around in circles talking about how bad they are and what they will do to the other person.

Thats them. Edith is the on of the 2 heavy set ladies. She is also the louder of the 2. But I tell you what she will make you smile no matter how bad the day sucks at 6 am.

That must be her. Reminded me of my aunt before she went to the "dark side" around noon or when her blood sugar trended low.

That good ole southern hospitality.....I do miss that but not the bending and breaking my back and hustling to a flight to make the bags to be waved off. I do like my desk job
