DUCK!!!!!---hah get it...

I didn't get one that big but I caught a sparrow I think between the windscreen and the alchohol wicks the other day.....Imagine trying to squeeze a whole bird through a half inch space...it just kinda squeezed apart and left bones/feathers stuck there.

Yeah Lloyd, how did the pilot make out? That is amazing that it basically went right through the plane. It looks like it went in more of the right side but I bet the drag was something that was really noticable.

I recall that you are supposed to open the side windows if something makes a hole in the windscreen. I imagine maybe you would want your approach speed a bit faster too?

That is freakin scary though!

Pilot made out fine! He declared an emergency and landed without incident.

Of course, I'm sure that the company made him do a quick plane swap and finish the run . . .

See now, there are probably qquite a few C210's flying around. But when I first saw the title I thought.......

Great, on the first night Floyd is late on his return and

Now he has gone and wrecked a perfectly good airplane.

That is a nasty strike.....AM I seeing that correctly and the bird went in the front and out the back. Was it in cruise?
