Hmmm speaking of military intercept, is that one you only use when you have an F-16 for an unwanted wingman and one on your six?

Can you get intercepted in something like a 152? I mean slow down to min controllable airspeed which I think is 39kts?? and watch the fighters trying to intercept you drop out of the sky while trying to slow down as well. That is until they get have you on missle lock from a few miles out and blow you out of the sky. |

i know f18s can get down to like 60 knots... but aoa is like 60 degrees! in other news, i broke the sound barrier in the 172 today. i was at FL480 and got it up to 1.2M I was burning alot of fuel at that speed, so i had to descend to FL250 to meet up with a KC10. The boom operator was able to get me on the first try. not a bad day. flew from GKY LAX GKY JFK GKY. not bad for a days work. for kristie: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() :sarca sm:

frog, I see you had another productive day at work. I thought I heard someone trying to reach center but they said something about them being too high.
