Does anyone know about the pay scale progression at Air Now. All it says on the web site is ability to earn 28G the first year.

I think that's as a "captain" on the caravan. They just started flying Shorts 360's but I dont know if they are still hiring FO's....

Search flightinfo before you think about going there. They've had some accidents and killed a few folks.

Go search flightinfo, some guys talk about being pressured to fly planes with inop instruments, flying when fatigued, etc. etc. I know standard fare for some jobs, but I'm not too interested in those jobs personally. One pilot was terminated because he scrubbed too many flights due to MX, sued and I think won.

They had i think 4 accidents last year and 2 fatalities I believe. They also lost a wrongful termination lawsuite after they fired someone for refusing to fly with a broken A.I.

Last year they cold called me after seeing my resume on climbto350 and invited me to interview for a Caravan PIC job near where I grew up. I declined because I was already flying a Caravan, and didn't want to keep flying them. The next day she called back and invited me to interview for an EMB-110 PIC position. I went 2,500 miles away to fly a piston twin instead. I don't think there's a similar company in the world who hasn't had a fatality, so I wouldn't necessarily base it on that, but I have heard about a lot of other issues there. On the other hand, I've also talked to several of their pilots when I was flying around their territory back east who were pretty happy there. Just like with any job, do your homework and make an informed decision. |
