Default Southwest/Boeing Sued

Found a thread about this link over at Anet. Thought maybe a discussion over here would be nice.

If I remember right the pilots miscalculated the stopping distance or used the reversers in the calculations? Any input on the technical details would be nice.

There was no miscalculation. What happened was (1) they were landing with a tailwind in a mad Chicago snowstorm and (2) The captain had difficulty engaging the thrust reversers and didn't get them going until it was far too late. People on the ground stated they didn't hear the reversers until they were near the end of the runway.
