Default Boca Rotan Airports?

Quick question (BCtarAv8ter) What are some airports that offer a cheap discovery flight around that area? I have a friend there and he wants to take one if he can. Anyhelp or resources that I could look up? thanks a million guys.

All you have to do is go to: www.beapilot.com there you can look up flight schools in any area, and most if not all of them offer the $59 discovery flight.
There are several airports in the Boca area. BCT, FXE, PMP, and LNA.

You'd be better off with the two mentioned above. I'd refer you to one of the schools at KBCT but I can't honestly say I liked them. There's American Flyers and Florida Aviation Academy (Ex. SouthSky Aviation) at PMP. Didn't hear good things about American Flyers.

I'd recommend Palm Beach Flight Training at KLNA which is not that far North from Boca Raton. I have a friend finishing his PPL there and he seems to like it. I also know a CFI that works there whom I met at SP.com.

Yeah, I would recommend Palm Beach Flight Training at LNA. LNA is a good airport to train at, you will get some good experience with fairly busy both controlled and uncontrolled airpspace. I have only flown there twice (im from up north) but both times I have been very impressed with both the equipment and quality of instruction. Nice laid back airport too! Check them out.

unless absolutely necessary do not fly out of FXE or FLL on a discovery flight. It will put the wrong taste in your mouth for how flying should be. Go out of Lantana....
