Hi all - Just wondering if someone "in the know" could point me towards information concerning government contractors. I vaguely remember a B200 driver on here who was employed by such a company. I'm extermely interested in overseas operations and what kind of qualifications these entities are looking for. Thanks! J. PS - Thus far, I've discovered a group called "Phoenix Air." Anyone have any gouge? Last edited by C150J; April 11th, 2006 at 01:36. |

Carefull... I've seen some absolutely horrendous briefings and videos of Blackwater pilots being shot down and captured. It was so bad I couldn't watch the rest of the briefing. Flying over there is no joke, and in my opinion, is not worth any amount of money in the world. The surface to air threat is VERY real over there, no matter what anyone tells you. And god-forbid if you actually survive a shoot-down only to get captured. If the KW pilot who just joined the forum is around... ask him too. Not sure what kind of training the contractors get, but I tell you if they ARE hiring pilots without a military background they really need SERE (survival evasion resistance and escape) training as a minimum. |
