Yes, I am.

They have already sounded some alarms over the Cable TV system.

I am headed for the basement here in a few minutes. This is twice in a week.

I have lived here for about 9 months is all.
I am originally from Phoenix, AZ and lived there pretty much my whole life.

The tornadoes pretty much went around us again. I am just a little skiddish after last week when the West side of town here got hit, also the airport at Iola, just north of my home field CNU, had their hangar peeled.

I've lived in Kansas for 22 of my 24 years, and all I can say is get used to it...especially since this is your first spring there. There is usually a week or two (maybe more) when there are tornados every night. Don't hide in the basement...get outside with your camera!
