Default Ugh, College research paper topic!?

I have no Idea for a topic on this research paper that is due monday. The prompt is Culural issues (cant have already been covered to death) I have a feeling that most people's papers in my class will focus on race. I have no Idea what I should do. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

You can go the Socio-economic route.

I barely passed HS though.

I did a paper on why Native American Indians still refuse to adapt to modern American culture. It was a broad topic so I focused on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Good luck!

Did you catch South Park Wednesday night? "How 'Family Guy' and Fundamentalist Islam will bring about the fall of modern civilzation?" Your paper has practically written itself!

Try some of these:

1) Write a thesis on why you think the aviation industry is predominantly populated by men and the fundamental attraction of men, and not women, to this industry.

2) Write a paper on the evolution of "PC" language. It seems like every year there' more and more that you're not allowed to say. Talk about the whole "Merry Christmas" thing, businessperson vs. businessman, and all kinds of other things.

3) Take a position on personal electronics and how they are constantly degrading human beings interpersonal skills. Basically, everywhere you go everybody is either on their cell phone or has their Ipod in their ear. That's IF they go out at all because more and more folks just stay at home and rely on chat-rooms, (cough cough JC and other online ways of communicating that their real, natural interpersonal skills are eroded. If you need a tie in to aviation, you can take this and relate it to the interworking of the crew in the cockpit.

Just some thoughts...

Listen to a few Rush Limbaugh shows. You should get plenty of ideas there.

write about how procrastination can lead to a lack of thorough research, unfounded claims and cause higher levels of stress than normal. Then counter with how alcohol is the contributing cause to this problem, making up random supporting statistics.
