This is wierd man, I have been to airshows, heck I have seen Blue Angels and their lead solo do some great stuff but this is just near impossible for me to believe:

Someone could have photoshopped the wheels away from a static display.

It might be real, but very doofus.

See, there's this thing called Photoshop, and yesterday being 1 April

Looks like they just photoshopped the landing gear out!

it just looks like an airplane doing a very low pass, photoshopped or not its not an impossible thing to do, just not neccesarily the smartest. If you want to see stuff you would think is impossible, go look for some of bob hoovers videos of him doing aero in the twin commander, including doing manuevers with both engines shutdown and feathered.

I have seen those videos and that is why I am not ruling out the fact that this may have been actually done.

Looks to me like that'd put the plane dangerously close to the grass.

I'm fairly sure this is legit. The people at a.net are photogs themselves who often are fairly good at spotting fakes.

I saw Hoover in person at Martin State in Baltimore. Hoover did some incredible photoshop work with his Shrike Commander.

Verical stab is a too crisp, just dosen't fit. Looks bad. Good job on the shadow, too bad the guy that PS'd it has the plane flying down the right edge of the runway, and half in the grass. Two feet from the ground and he can't maintain centerline? Unlikely. Sierrapilot's flik was way more convincing.

Yeah, that has got to be real or the screeners there would have caught it. Trust me, they look very closely at the photos they get submitted.

Also with the photo in question, not only is he straddling the grass and taxiway, he is a tad higher above the ground than he would be if he was taxiing. The gear was not photoshopped out, the only other explanation would be that the plane is hooked to a crane and just hanging there but I doubt that.

If the screeners didn't catch that nonsense, they suck. That Su was dropped in from another pic after the gear was p-shopped out. The focus and light on the jet isn't even close to the foreground or the background, the vertical stab is way, way too sharp.
Not a bad job, but still a job.

Good find Nick. I was waiting for another view of it to show up. I do give credit to the photog for getting a really sharp image on a day where the wx looked like that in the photo above there. Looks like a pretty hazy OVC kinda day they had for the show.

The thing that kinda had me wondering was why the refueling probe was extended?
