That makes it easy... What's tough is when it is borderline and the student still wants to "learn to fly". Sometimes I'm thinking in my head, "someone is going to be learning to fly alright, but it ain't gonna be you"

Today is laundry/grocery shopping day for me.

I did about get blown over when I went to the mall this morning, yikes!

Oh and the snow and ice.
Which leads to my next question, which state is the best for flight training?
Arizona? gets pretty hot...
Cali, pretty busy airspace...

Which state is the best..

I still say Colorado. You just have to have some experience with the weather and be able to land quick if needed. The nice thing is even though we have the rugged mountains west of Denver, east of Denver is flat as can be and full of places for an emergency off field landing if you need it. Ray Charles could deal with an engine failure out here if he had to. When flying in Florida, and the east coast you have too many trees to deal with down there if something were to happen. I remember I used to do most of my flying in Florida within gliding distance to the beach. Cant find a longer runway than the beach!

Arizona would be a good arguement but between about 9 am to 7 pm you will die of a heat stroke in the plane.
