| I think my dad is right that the best place for a student pilot to work is in aviation. For example, there is a local corprate company I am applying to as a lineman or if that does not work out a coustomer services represnative. Now given, when I get all my ratings and build my hours, I may have a better chance at a flying job than an outsider, given they know me more. Not saying I would get a job, but it could help. I would not mind flying with them for a while one day, perhaps to build more hours. They have some nice aircraft like the King Air, a couple models of the Learjet I think, and maybe a Citation. Or there is another company on the airport grounds, buthe woman at the desk said they just filled positions but gave me an application anyway. These companies are small, so if they know you and know you are a good worker who works hard and shows up on time, you may get the pilot job over someone they do not know. I think my dad is right that student pilots should find such jobs--they can really pay off. I have a job lined up at the horsetrack where they do the Kentucky Derby starting sometime in mid-April but I am hoping to get an aviation related position, even if it just means the pleasure of being around cool planes and perhaps talking to the pilots a bit. |

| I think working in aviation has value, not necessarily to get a job there someday, but to get your feet wet in the business and learn as much as you can about it. I've seen a few people new to aviation go to flight school and six months later have all their ratings, then get hired at a regional, and quit. They never had a chance to really get to know the industry, its history, and its realities. |

| Yes, of course. I am looking for more than just a future job. Would not be the hell of a factory being a lineman lol. Not the same thing over and over and over and over and over. Gee, I hate factories lol. No offense to those who work there lol, but not my thing. |

| You can always do customer service for an airline as well. It sucks at times, but the pay is good and the flight benefits are great.
