Posted this elsewhere but this forum get more hits; im just curious if WMU brings people through flight instructor ratings. Also hows the social life there. I should be visiting mid April because i was accepted but i need some opinions.

You can get your CFI, but it is an elective (ie. not accounted for in normal course load). I will say that how quickly you get through your ratings is largely dependent on motivation. Some people take forever, and others zip right through. Personally, I went from 0 hours to CFI in two weeks short of two years while taking ~18-20 credits a semester... because I showed up prepared and when I was supposed to.
