| I started my private at Pinnacle Aviation. Good prices at the time (not sure what they charge now) and all of the 152's were standardized in the sense that all of the panels were layed out exactly the same with the same com/nav package. So no matter what plane you got in you wouldnt know the difference. The maintenance was top notch as were the instructors. I think you also got a discount if you kept a certain amount of money on account. My instructor from Pinnacle now teaches at Grey Eagle and if I were to go back to Cali I would definately look her up for lessons again. Here name was Yvonne. Best bet, as said here on thie fourms many times, is to go visit all of the schools your thinking about. Do your homework and make your decision on what is going to work best for you, because whats right for one isn't right for all. My .02

| Pinnacle. I got my private there. Great staff and instructors. The prices ahve gone up, but that's due to fuel prices. I'm going back to finish up my commercial ASEL get everything else. Check it out. A lot of theinstructors have gone on to SkyWest. The chief instuctor is a CRJ captain at SkyWest. Great guy.

| Pinnacle is a great place - very inexpensive rates ($49 wet for a 152 as long as you hae $200 on account). |

And those are pretty good rates (assuming the 172's are in good shape). | |
