I hear putting a little lemon in your water works as a great appetite inhibitor as well.

I know this is sick, but I actually like airline food. It seems crazy to type that out. I wonder how bad it is for you. Except for the 12+ hour flights, I love to travel and don't mind the traveling....yet.

You are not the only one, I like airline food myself and I have always thought it is tasty especially on Iran Air.

Doug the best way to eat airline food is to have as many cold adult beverages as you can for the food is served, unless you are in office with a view. But also now you have to be lucky to get any type of meal.

I can't remember the last time I was on a flight that served a meal for free. However I recall Delta having Atlanta Bread Company sandwitches a few years back for $5, That place is delecious, I bought one. Do airlines even serve free meals anymore on domestic flights?

On Expressjet last week, almost all of the 12 flights I operated were catered. Nothing special, just a little sandwich with carrots and candy or a snack pack with cheese, crackers, sausage, trail mix, cheese nips, and candy. If you're cheap like me, it does allow you to save money on food while at work.

The best meal I ever got was on an either AA or Delta from DFW to Des Moines. Chicken burrito, chips, small salad, mints. I was young so I got seconds and all the free coke I could handle.

I wouldn't consider it FREE. It is built-in to the cost your ticket some how or another.
