Pretty cool, but be careful as they are not current. At least the one of DEN isn't.

That's a pretty cool site. I like the fact that the charts are high resolution, and most of them are current. I kinda like playing around with www.runwayfinder.com It has some pretty nice features -- though none of the charts are current.

Posted a link to there a week or two ago:

They do keep the charts fairly current (its not like you are going to fly with the service anyway). The Denver one is just days past date and I bet it gets updates soon. Good enough for online reference anyway.

Yeah, I just mentioned the Denver one because it just expired and there was a fairly significant change on it.

For the most part they do look pretty up to date though.

Great find Tony!

Just looked through the site and there is mention about updates:

Quote:
It is my goal to always provide current charts. The way they come from the FAA is as 200dpi TIFF files. Uploading, scaling, and tiling is a process that takes days and results in 2.4 Gigabytes of tile images. This last month, I had the new charts up on the 27th, which was 5 days past the the issue date of the 22nd. I hope and wish to do better, but I think that 5 days is probably what you can come to expect.

Thanks for the useful link!

So am I right that the colors are:

Magenta = LIFR
Red = IFR
Blue = MVFR
Green = VFR
