All I can offer are three 45 year old cat ranchers, at best. You might want to offer that to the ExpressJet crews, might have better luck!

Nas-TEE. Yet another reason to be glad to be furloughed.

I was fortunate enough to do my last layover ever as an airline pilot at the Ramada JFK last night - no bed bug problems but I did have to ward off a cockroach invasion in the middle of the night. Jason

Yup. Simmons Airlines/American Eagle 1995-2001 American Airlines APR 2001-SEP 2001 Furloughed SEP 2001-MAR 2002 Recalled APR 2002-OCT 2002 Furloughed again OCT 2002 My recall rights expire 15 OCT 2007. That date is quickly approaching. I feel bad for the people junior to me furloughed right after 9/11 who didn't get recalled in '02. I was recalled, so my 5 year clock reset in OCT of 2002. Their clock is still ticking, and they'll expire in SEP of 2006. THAT'S THIS YEAR! AA's pilots have a 10 year clock, so they've got a few years to go, but with the way things are going I've got to wonder if some of them will expire too.

Well last night I slept on three chairs pushed together against the wall in our crew room, so didn't find any bugs. All the loungers were taken! My buddies were sure that my back would be hurting, but I think it did wonders for my posture. That's it, no more uncommutable trips until I upgrade! Gak! London "sleeping in airport" flashbacks...
