At 21:20 EST....

CNN anchorwoman: Jim, what is the most difficult thing for the pilots to do right now?

Jim (some airline pilot): Well, they need to try to get the gear down.

listen about halfway through, and you can hear midwest210 getting cleared to land and tower asking about the gear. took 33r with wind from 300. makes sense.

33L, 33R is only something like 2500 feet long... Would've made for a much more dramatic landing though

Well, if the plane was red! But, alas, Midwest is Blue & White, so we are safe...

Hmmm... I'm wondering if this was the same Midwest 717 that had the landing gear problem a few weeks ago in Dallas?
