| Senior Member | The holiday season is approching, and I am having trouble deciding which headset to put the christmas list. My options are: David Clark 10-13.4 or H10-20 $290 Marv Golden ANR http://www.marvgolden.com/headsets/mganr.htm $240 My main concern is I want ANR. The DC isn't but they have great customer service which draws me to their company. Is the DC H10-13.4 upgradeable to ANR in the future? And does anybody know about Marv Golden and the customer care, durability, etc? Thanks for your time! Have a nice day!

| I use a non-ANR set of Marv Golden's for flight instructing. I've had this set for about 8 years or so, and they have been used and abused. Never had a problem with them. I also have Lightspeed ANR's that I purchased through MG. As a retailer, I've found MG to be a pretty good outfit. When I've needed to exchange things they've done it gladly and their prices are usually pretty competitive. As far as MG brands, I think they are usually rebranded items. I'm pretty sure my MG40's were built by Pilot avionics and some of their current offerings look like they might be Lightspeed products. |
