| Old Skool | Hey, can anyone get me the loads for any flight departing LAX-ATL-BUF or LAX-CVG-BUF? It'll be November 30th and anything that arrives in buffalo the next day. So i think it would be a red-eye out of LAX and then an early morning departure out of ATL or CVG. Thanks in advance! ![]() |

| Newbie | Expedia.com has an option where it allows you to view seat availability on the flight(s) you have selected for the date and times you're interested in. I'm flying standby out of LEX to DCA in the morning and I'm using this feature to determine whether or not I will be able to fly out at a given time on a given flight. Hope this helps. |

| Agent Smith | Doesn't work reliably, trust me. It only shows 'confirmed seat' assignments. Whereas they may have 100 seats available. 70 might be confirmed seat assignements and another 25 may be sold, but not confirmed seat assignments which may lead you to believe that there are 5 seats available. If you're a NRSA passenger you may be anywhere from #1 on the list up to #200 depending on the city pair you're traveling between.

Called delta, and apparently, they introduced this thing after they filed BK or something, 25 dollars change per ticket. And i repeated it, even with priceline? She kept on saying, as long as you're flying delta, yes. So i took her name, and information just in case.

| Agent Smith | Sucka! Better read the 'terms and conditions' of buying from priceline. Unless I'm mistaken...

| F-priceline. Set up a corporate account with expedia, you can cancel within the first 24 hours for FIVE DOLLA! After 24 hours it's 30 bucks. |

| Agent Smith | And in the future, don't ever, EVER EVER EVER buy crap off of priceline. Hotels. If you get a decent hotel, they'll treat you like you don't belong there once they see who you booked thru. Saw that in ATL and in PHX a few years ago. Airlines. Once you book, you're stuck. Gotta beef? Gotta go thru priceline. F William Shatner, priceline sucks. All of that wonderful $25 dolla change stuff only generally applies, as far as i know, if you book directly with the airline. Despite what the voice over the telephone says.

| SERIOUSLY. Hotels.com, priceline, they're all the same on hotels. My advice? Call the local FBO and make up some BS about how you're learjet NXXXX and will be in late and need X rooms for crew, they'll get you a good room at a good crew rate, just make sure they put it under your name the nicer the FBO, the better. I wouldn't DREAM of buying fuel at signature, but they sure can make awesome hotel reservations!that's philips "cheap bastard" tip of the day |

| Agent Smith | Hell, nonrevcentral.com uses the expedia engine and you get the same deals as expedia.com, hotels.com and cheaptickets/cheapflights.com and it rolls back into the jetcareers general fund.

Same day change or something within 3 hours of the flight that we plan; 25 dollars. We gotta catch the 12:25 flight out of LAX then which is flight 560. Can someone tell me the availability on flight 560 on November 30th? The second segment (doesnt matter too much, many flights out of ATL to BUF) she wouldnt tell me the availability. She's like it's not looking the best. I was like well can you just tell me how many seats are open? She's like just kinda low. So im like okay, give me percentage of me getting on that flight, and she's like well not looking too good. So im like okay, tell me how many seats are on the airplane, and how many are booked. Then she realized only 40 seats, and she's like okay, half of them ar booked. Im just hoping we can get on the flight out of LAX. Doug if you can please look up or somehow find the availability, that would be awesome! ![]()

Sorry i just had to do it! LOL Anyway its true about Priceline, expedia, etc...Dont do it. Ive seen it first person as pax come up to the counter to checkin in for a flight only to find that either they have no reservation, or reservation sends pax half way around world to get to las vegas from california. True story, I checked in a pax going from SMX-LAX-SBA-SFO-LAS, and pax didnt know until I handed them a stack of boarding passes. But ya...thoes internet travel websites are crap. They may get you a cheap ticket but the fares are SUPER restrictive. Sometimes you dont even know you have to sell your first born to even discuss changing the itinerary. J/K! And Priceline is the worst of them all. Back to your question, your best bet to check on loads is to go to the airport and ask a delta agent. Good luck!

If you have a buddy pass from someone, then you use that someone to help you figure out loads..but nobody just "gives out loads", no matter the cirumstance....you never know, we could lose priveledges for doing stuff like that and personally, i'm not willing to risk it...i'm pretty sure doug's the same way which is why he's repeatedly said no without actually saying the word no...sorry.

I didnt get a buddy pass as i said above, just priceline. I just want to know what my odds are on getting DL560 that is. Is it only you who cannot give out the loads or does that apply to all the airlines? I've been at the airport before, and walked up to a british airways flight, and asked what the availability is, and he just blatently told me, theres 32 seats left. For me though, i kinda just like the blatent answer - "No cant tell you" or "Here's the answer" i dont catch always what they're really trying to say. Maybe im just tired? ![]() Edit: Does anyone know why my confirmation number with delta doesnt work? I am confirmed, but when i put it in, it says "cannot be found" or something?
