Default 2005 Reno Air Races

Not sure if many of you have ever been to the Reno Air Races, but it is quite a sight to see. I was lucky enough to get a pass to go out to Pylon #4 to watch the unlimited class race. Supposedly only 200 people out of 200,000 are allowed to do so. It was an amazing experience watching the super modified war birds come over the hill line at 500+ mph heading directly for the pylon you are standing next to. What a rush!

Anyway, here are some photos and a video clip of the event: http://blastfilms.com/races/index.html

Video clip: http://homepage.mac.com/renojoints/S...Theater37.html

p.s. I met Herb Kelleher at the pylon (the founder of Southwest Airlines). He is a pretty funny guy. He is the man in the black Pentagon hat in the photos.
