| You may remember a thread regarding the LOA presented to the TSA ALPA from the company. The LOA was a result of informational picketing conducted by TSA pilots. The previous thread stated that the LOA had been agreed upon, which was inaccurate. In fact, the LOA had not even been viewed by any ALPA members at that time. Since then, the LOA was emailed to all pilots. It was close to industry average in some areas, but lowered our COLA bumps and did not address per diem. There was lots of language that was ambiguous regarding furlough protection, displacement, etc. The pilot group voted 75% against the LOA. If there is to be a better LOA, it will probably come late tonight or not at all as the Teamsters will likely be certified tomorrow or Monday. There will be no time for a pilot vote and it would have to be ratified by the MEC. So they didn't cave after all . . . ![]() |
