| I'm prepping for my instrument written, but with a Gleim that's a couple years old. Should I get a new one or are the questions still the same? Does anyone know if the FAA question pool has changed since '03? |

| Senior Member | when i was instructing at ATP, i had a guy come in for an FEX written. He had taken one back in the 70's or something (or something like that) and was worried about the same thing. After he took it he said he remembered a lot of the questions from the first time he prepped for it ![]() so to answer, not often. |

| Old Skool | There are typically a few changes.....but not many and not often. You should be fine w/ an '03 version. |

| Actually they do... They change the questions rather frequently. I am working on the Commericial written with the Gliem software. For example the 2005 Gleim book had 120 questions regarding FAR's and the 2006 book has 127 questions.. I'd just get a new one if you want a good score. Its only about $15 anyway. -Brian |

| They have a website for book buyers, if i recall, that you can go to and print out new q and a's. If you have the software it has an update feature also. |
