| Senior Member | Has anyone used Dauntless Software's "Ride Ready" software to prepare themselves for the oral portion of practical tests? I have been playing with the demo and it seems pretty good. It's $25 for the fulll version for each rating though. |

| Yeah, I have. It is okay. I think it depends on how you learn best. I prefer an oral setting, but the cool thing about that software is that when you set it up it asks you all of the specifics on your aircraft and then later uses that information to prepare you. I will now be working on my CFI and don't know if I will buy it again or not. I do use their Safelog which is a good electronic logbook that doesn't break the bank. |

| I use their FAA-Written prep software for my studs, and for myself. Quality product! |

| Senior Member | Yha, I bought that for my private pilot, I knew most of the answers in the demo, but was supprised at how many questions are in the actual $25 version. It has decent question, along with some fairly good explanations, however their weather section leaves more to desire. Also, you can customize the answers to be airplane specific, although it may be off on such things as v speeds by 1 or 2 knots, and it dosn't have a C-172SP (fuel injected). I think overall it was worth it, seems eaiser to stare at a computer screen for an hour then read a book with the answers. ![]() |
