Default Man restrained on Katrina evacuee flight

DENVER (AP) - Passengers on a Frontier Airlines plane carrying Hurricane Katrina evacuees from Houston to Denver subdued a man and tied him up with duct tape after he assaulted a flight attendant, police said.

Several men got out of their seats to subdue Tervort, who was spitting, biting and yelling profanities, Denver police spokeswoman Virginia Lopez said Wednesday. The men then used duct tape to tie Tervort's arms and legs to a rail on the seats.

...which is why it's a good idea that they're security screened.

The part that was encouraging, was when the guy got up & acted strange, fellow passengers took him down!!

There was a guy on a Shuttle America Flight this week who was a "refugee" who had two knives and tried to kill himself onboard. Diverted to BNA.

Think about what they've been through over the past few weeks. You've got to expect that some of them would crack.

A lot of these people have lost EVERYTHING.

For a few of them to crack doesn't surprise me at all.

...which is why if one's going to crack, might as well crack without the 'crack' and a switchblade!
