Doug Sighting!

Had to jumpseat into work today, who do I find in the right seat? Our man Doug! Turns out I knew the Captain from a long time ago too, so we had a lot of conversation on the short flight to ATL this morning. It was Doug's leg, I promised to give a good review! Actually, very well flown and a nice landing as a bonus. Doug, you gotta call me the next time you layover, I'll take you guys out to eat the best fried catfish around. See you next time!

Cool!

I told Frank that if I botched the landing in ATL, it'd be on the forums and probably indexed on Google before I even left for Philly!

Speaking of Philly, we're still on a delay. I'll start getting cranky in another hour or so. Block or earlier on the last day, ya know?

does that mean your going to be late getting home???

yea, i've flown with doug a few times and it seems like when he knows someone on board, he never botches the landing...or is it that he's just good at landing? haha

That'd be funny if I ever boarded a Delta flight, to find Doug in the co seat.....

I know it's a long shot but I was doing my walk around and he is one of the few major airline pilots I know of who would wave to an RJ pilot!

Sure, one of these days. The only long sit in ATL I had on this trip I caught up with another one of my old college roommates who was on a 'productivity sit' as well.
