Default MIDWEST B-717 Surrounded by cops

Anyone know what happened to a Midwest B717 @ IAD on SAT? I was taxiing out went it pulled into the 30 block and was surrounded by cop cars. Only thing I heard on ground was something about a problem passenger.

Oh man, I'm suprised you even heard that much!

I see all sorts of oddities during the day, but no clue as to what's going on.

They probably found a plastic knife in someone's bag, so the called the cops. Airline "security" blows things WAY out of proportion. I'm surprised they didn't call out the national guard.

But then, people 'wig out' all the time on airplanes.

If you come to networkJC, I'll tell you all about my DEN-ATL red eye.

"Doug, I was on this flight to Lodon and well, long story short I caused an international incident. You see this guy, he was looking at my girlfriend and he looked kind of shady, so I decided I needed to kick his a$$. I mean of course I was drunk because the liquor was free and they kept bringing it, but he had it coming! Do you think I can still become an airline pilot if I go to Gulfstream Academy? They told me I could, and they seem like good honest people."

From the email I get, you didn't really shock me all that much. You've got to try A LOT harder!

Dear Doug, I was that guy who took a dump on the serving cart a few years ago. I've gone to anger management classes, laid off the cocaine, and have cleaned up my life.

I'll even offer to scrub the lavs for a year if they'll just hire me as an airline pilot. Do you think I have a chance?

Better?

I have my PPL, but was convicted of stealing the governor's plane. Thats okay, in prison my retraining was to get my IFR, which is why I didnt get away in the first place.

Since that state has released me and I now have my IFR, I should be able to do the Direct Jet program and be flying regionals within a year, correct?

That's a little better, but not quite to the 'Hey honey, you've GOT to read this one' level.

Is this in reference to mine? Now can I tell you the first part (VFR to jail for IFR) is true, in the 1980's in MO.

Going to regionals was just an adder.

Please tell me you save these things so you can put them in "the book" when you retire.
