| Today was a great day for an airshow. A bit chilly, but the fuel exhaust kept me warm. The #3 Blue Angel had some technical problems (I guess) so they used the #7 plane. Fat Albert caused a small brush fire along-side one of the taxiways. It took 10 minutes for the fire truck to arrive at the "scene" to dump a small amount of water. I wonder how long it would take the fire truck to arrive if it was a big fire. I can't believe how short of a runway airplanes such as Sean D. Tucker's can takeoff on. (It seemed like 350 feet). And finally, HERE ARE MY PICS Like always, comments are greatly appreciated ![]() |

| Senior Member | Nice pictures; a lot better than the ones I took with my POS 1-megapixel camera. Just my luck that the new one I got on eBay comes the day after. Was a good show though; I got to sit in the cockpits of the FedEx 727-200 and Cessna 208B Caravan for a few minutes to play "pretend", and got to talk with the Caravan pilot for a few minutes about the job. Weather could have cooperated a little better though. |
