|  How much in loans is needed? Alright then, It is about time for me to sign over my soul and right arm to either Keystone or Sallie Mae. The problem I am having, is how much money I should ask for. How much is the average cost for PPL - CFI Multi? I was thinking about $33,000 ought to do it. I will be doing it all from my Local FBO. Well, except the CFI Multi rating. (Unless boss man Lloyd can get something going for Multi around here!  )Any insight? Joel |

| Re: How much in loans is needed? You should be able to figure it out based on the prices at your FBO. Checkride fees could add another 1K. |

| Re: How much in loans is needed? What ever number you come up with, add about a third or so more and that should about cover it. Be very suspect of the price that is quoted as that is usually the minimum times. People have done it, but it is not too realistic. |

 | Re: How much in loans is needed? My theory would be to take out about 50K. This should be more than needed. Put it in an interest earning account and take it out as needed. This way you will have all the cash available to get everything done ASAP. If you run low on cash your training will actually end up taking longer and costing more. Good Luck |

| Re: How much in loans is needed? Budget at least $2600 for your written test and checkride fees. An option for you at ATP would be the 10 month program in Bowling Green. |
