| Go to the TAB Express website and watch the video! Make sure your volume is up on your computer. You can rock out to the Stones while you realize what a mistake you made by not going there. ![]() |

| "Yeah, CFI's are unprepared people who aren't safe in the cockpit of a 121 part ops aircraft. The PFT people are the best pilots in the world because they posses this knowledge. " ![]() What a bunch of idiots. |

| I think the reason people go to PFT is because they don't know any better. When I first got started in my research to become a pilot (pre JC member), Gulfstream sounded like an awesome choice as it was in FLL and could get me where I wanted to be quickly. Did I know better? No. Which is why we need to reac these people and let them no that PFT is not good for them, us, or anyone in this industry. |

| Great Video.... Its a shame you can feel the wool being pulled over your head while watching it. Couple of questions to any TAB express lurkers on here.... These "industry leading airline pilot instructors," are nothing more then people who have busted out of an airline, but have a CFI are they not? Or are they the last group of paying costumers from TAB? Or are there actually people with "thousands of hours" of 121 time who are now deciding they want to train someone with no time in a King Air? My problem with that is anyone who has "thousands of hours" of 121 experience KNOWS BETTER THEN TO INSTRUCT PEOPLE WITH NO TIME IN A KING AIR. By the way, did you like how you see the little clip of the 2 Cape Air planes holding short at BOS with all the heavies behind them.... That will be me in the next few weeks.... ![]() ![]() |

| Agent Smith | Waaaaaay too long, geez! I didn't go to Tab, so I guess I'm just a big doofus! The dramatic music confirmed it as well. I'm going to have to apologize to my current employer and my previous airline about not having mad skills and costing them hoardes of cash for bringing me up to speed. |

| Music makes almost any video look cool. The aircraft shots in the beggining are allright, but it gets really cheesy when they start talking. Then they show a bad landing on a C172 and talk about how little experienced CFIs are. |

| Whew Yeah! We need a montage...montage... a TAB Express flight training montage ![]() I love the part when they show the cap and wings and the cheesetastic music comes on. Ah its great Ever notice if you replace the T with a D and switch the first and last letters of TAB you get BAD express. |

[ QUOTE ] Or are they the last group of paying costumers from TAB? [/ QUOTE ] As far as I know there is only one who went through the program a few years back, got on with Chitaqua and supplements his family's income in the simulators. He is actually by far the best instructor there and that I wouldn't accredit to the training he got there but his outstanding personality and drive. And in response to another part of the thread....I'd also agree that a lot of folks who get into PFT don't know any better. I didn't. When I realized what was going on, I got out. I'm a lot poorer and trying to take my lumps with grace. I realized the benefits of takig the route of CFI and started that training at an FBO in DAB - which BTW I couldn't recommend more highly - Cloud Dancer Aviation. So even with a few hundred hours and all my ratings but multi going to TAB I still made an error. Hey, it happens. If I had done my research a bit more maybe I wouldn't have - I'll never know. I ended up getting my commercial multi at Cloud Dancer and have started CFI training. My opinion is that TAB will keep struggling but eventually fade away - then there will be one less PFT facility ripping people off. |

There is still a place for you at TAB. You could quit your airline job, and go risk your neck as a TAB instructor. Doug -"Hop on in guys, time for the first flight. Alright you start up the king air with this procedure." FNG - "whats a procedure, and whats a King Air" Doug -"don't worry I will be siting in the seat behind you the entire flight." |
