Anybody who might be flying in Georgia, Mississippi, or North Carolina should think very hard about either cancelling, rescheduling, or calling in sick. I have my first IOE flights on Monday, and trust me you will all be safer on the ground!!!! ![]() If you hear about the Atlanta airport being shut down for pilot incompetence......that was me!!! ![]() You've been warned |

Where in Mississippi? Probably no where near me. The largest thing that comes into here is a Saab 340 until June. Then (oooh oooh) Tupleo gets JET SERVICE!

I will be at the airport Monday working so if we happen to see or hear of a pilot driving wildly on the ramp I will report it. Hopefully he remembers what the yellow and black lines are for. I know my head will be on a swivel when driving my tug over at the ASA ramp.............kidding...but good luck

I heard such reports had dropped precipitously at the end of June last year. |

First day is: ATL-GPT GPT-ATL ATL-ILM ILM-GPT Day two: ATL-GRR GRR-ATL ATL-IAH IAH-ATL etc..... I jumpseated on the same pairing the other day and it didn't seem so bad so it should go OK. As far as the driving goes, thank goodness I don't have to do that. It seems to be the hardest thing. |

Again when I am over there on Monday I will look for a F/O doing a walk around with glaze in his eye and nervous walk around with your CA

Ha ha...that's funny. My training captain said he was going to do the walkaround in Atlanta to "gove me time for the paperwork"...but he was really saving me from the embarrasment (spelling?) of doing it together in ATL. We did it at the outstation together instead. You'll be happy to know that everybody is alive and safe. The airplane is still straight, and we all get a chance to do the same thing tomorrow. |
