My first logbook is an el cheapo that i kinda got forced into buying because I needed one(and didn't know any better). I recently ordered a new(nicer) one from sporty's. So my question is do i rewrite all of my previous logbook entries into my new book and let my instructor resign it? Or do i just say totals from previous book and show a future employer my wopping 78hrs. in my first book? phippjd@auburn.edu |

Just do the totals in the new logbook. Keep the other one, and unfortunately, you'll have to drag it with you to interviews. I have an "el cheapo" that was given to me during my discovery flight. I just bought a new one with more columns, so I'm right there with ya.

As long as the pages are clean "el cheapo" does "el jobo" for me.
